When companies release new features and websites consumers are expecting a perfect product with no glitches.

One of the best ways to check a new product’s performance for glitches is to continuously test it.

SiteSpect, a provider of testing and optimization solutions, has announced that it is releasing a new API to help users remove as much manual interaction out of the testing process as possible.

While testing is one of the most important parts of the development process it is also one of the most time consuming. However, SiteSpect’s new API takes aim at eliminating much of the manual processes involved in testing by introducing an additional interface where users can automate things such as scheduling tests and integration of third-party data.

“We consider ourselves to be best of breed in testing and we focus on testing and targeting and optimization,” stated Justin Bougher, director of product management at SiteSpect. “The clients, our customers, tend to be a little more advanced and they want to test all parts of their site and target and create targeting experiences for lots of different types of users and they want to run more and more tests each year.”

Bougher later added that there is no limit to the amount of tests users can run and that the updated interface comes at no additional cost to new and current clients.
