SiteSpect President and Founder to Speak at Internet Marketing Conference

SiteSpect, Inc., the leading provider of non-intrusive multivariate testing and behavioral targeting technology, today announced that its President and Founder, Eric J. Hansen, will be speaking at the Internet Marketing Conference to be held at the Coast Plaza Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on September 12, 2008.

Internet Marketing Conference (IMC) is a two-day event designed for networking and to teach online marketers the “Tools of Trade.” With over 50 speakers from across Europe, Canada and the United States, attendees will learn about web analytics, search engine marketing, content management, and website testing and targeting.

Hansen will be featured as a panelist discussing the topic, “Conversion Optimization” at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12. Following the theme of IMC Vancouver, “Tools of Trade,” he will discuss proven methods to enhance conversion rates, the value of website testing, and discuss the tools that are available to marketers.

Hansen is the founder of SiteSpect, and the architect of the firm’s non-intrusive technology for multivariate testing, behavioral targeting and online marketing optimization.

Prior to SiteSpect, Hansen was the founder and CEO of Worldmachine Technologies, a web development and consulting firm specializing in large-scale engineering projects for organizations such as John Hancock Insurance, Putnam Investments, Hearst New Media, and The New England Journal of Medicine.

Prior to Worldmachine, Hansen held product management and software engineering positions at several Boston-based technology firms including Princeton Transportation Consulting Group (Logistics.com), Raytheon Company, and the Center for Clinical Computing at Harvard Medical School.

Hansen is a frequent speaker at major conferences, and writes regularly on topics dealing with the intersection of marketing and technology. He received his B.A. in Cognitive Science and Psychology with honors from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.
