SiteSpect has some impressive employees in its ranks: from industry influencers to mentors, from gamers to publishers. The Employee Spotlight series aims to highlight the talented individuals who work here. We’ll be featuring an interview here on the blog and on our social accounts.
For this month’s Employee Spotlight, we feature Luke Hardwick. Here at SiteSpect, Luke is one of our optimisation consultants, and works with our UK team.
How long have you worked at SiteSpect?
Since May 2015.
Briefly describe your primary responsibilities within your role at SiteSpect. (What does a typical day look like?)
Work directly with clients to ensure they maximize the successful use of SiteSpect for their customer experience optimisation and experimentation program. This involves regular calls and meetings to discuss all aspects of experimentation from roadmap, process, prioritization, design, build or reporting analysis. On occasion, I’ll help our UK sales team with product queries and I also try to get involved with product and documentation improvements where possible.
What is it you enjoy most about your job?
The variety of topics, business verticals and people you get to work with and develop a better understanding about.
In your time at SiteSpect, what has been your favorite project or memory?
A couple spring to mind. I’ve enjoyed attending the Customer Advisory Boards (CABs) in the US & UK. I have also enjoyed working on getting our first customer training portal up and running.
When you aren’t working, how do you spend your free time?
Having two kids under five means most of my free time is spent keeping them occupied whether this be going on walks, visits to the park or getting them involved in helping out with growing fruit and vegetables at our allotment. If I manage any spare time to myself, I like to play a little golf in the summer months.
List your favorite sports teams/bands/artists:
Tottenham Hotspur FC, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Madness, Motown etc. I like listening to a wide variety of modern music with a preference towards Indie.
If you could have dinner with 3 people from history who would they be?
Outside of family members, I would have to say Robin Williams, Nikola Tesla, and Charles Darwin.
