The Royal Wedding: A Case Study in Seamless Third-Party Integration

The upcoming royal nuptials between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry really got us thinking. Just like the happy couple, here at SiteSpect we operate a transatlantic, US-UK union. We’d never presume to speak on behalf of the happy couple but we’re pretty sure they’ve learnt a lot from us and how we operate. Back in the day, when Megan was nothing more than a beautiful Hollywood actress and Harry just a run-of-the-mill British prince, our Admin and Engine APIs were already bringing two disparate platforms together into one harmonious union. We’d bring out the best in independent tools and make them stronger by working together. Just like our Meghan and Harry do for one other.

Seamless Integration Across Platforms

It’s likely that your brand uses several tools and platforms across a number of digital channels in order to create the best customer experience. You may have a targeted search optimiser or an AI service for targeted ads, either way, every piece of the digital puzzle needs to communicate. SiteSpect sets the bar in this field with a tag-free, reverse proxy solution that helps any platform to do its job better, while also providing accurate and complete data and eliminating latency and optimising page load time. In essence, SiteSpect will take your disparate channels and make them stronger than the sum of their parts.

And, Meghan and Harry have clearly been paying attention to this model. The American actress and the British Prince couldn’t have grown up in more different worlds, they don’t even speak the same language (you can imagine Harry’s disappointment upon meeting the 15 “birds” Megan lives with…) but, despite their different interests, when they’re together, they’re a dream team. Love may have brought them together but it’s their differences that will unite them into a royal super couple.

Communication is Key

The key to a happy marriage is communication. Picture the scene: it’s Meghan and Harry’s first date. Harry is waiting at a beautiful restaurant, bunch of royally endorsed flowers in hand while Megan waits patiently at home for him to pick her up. Without clear communication, they might never have got to date two! But, despite different expectations (not to mention seemingly incompatible dialects), they’ve created a shared language and a shared experience that fits them both perfectly.

Just like the love between Meghan and Harry, SiteSpect is the glue that brings platforms together. SiteSpect doesn’t impose rules or ask either party to change, instead, it highlights each one’s finest attributes and brings them together to make them even stronger.

Here’s to the happy unions!
