Web Optimization Consultant

SiteSpect, the leading provider of non-intrusive multivariate testing and behavioral targeting technology, is expanding its Professional Services team to serve its rapidly growing roster of top-tier clientele. In this role, you will leverage your business and technical expertise in Web Optimization, Usability, Web Analytics and related skills to provide our customers with leadership and guidance in their use of the SiteSpect system. But more importantly, it will be the Web Optimization Consultant's responsibility to ensure that customers receive the ROI they're seeking by successfully leading them through the processes of optimization and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to develop clear and measurable business and testing objectives.
  • Solicit and/or recommend improvements to client sites that target increased conversion rates, then design and develop campaigns that enable the testing of improvements.
  • Leverage creative, strategic and analytic skills to discover insights from available sources including SiteSpect reporting, web analytics tools, and server logs.
  • Provide regular reporting and analyses to clients that support their business needs and assist client managers in interpreting campaign results. Assist clients in understanding your chosen strategies and what available information was used to aid in your decisions. Identify successes, failures, and trends and effectively communicate these findings to clients.
  • Train clients in the usage of SiteSpect and provide telephone and email technical support as necessary.
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables to meet client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to add additional value to client relationships.

Requirements

  • Motivated, committed, quick learner and a self-starter, comfortable working within a start-up company.
  • 3+ years of site optimization, usability analysis, and/or web analytics experience. Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of online analytics metrics and related statistical concepts. Experience with Web Analytics tools such as Webtrends, Omniture, Coremetrics, Google Analytics and analytical tools such as SAS, SPSS, Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML required; Website development/design experience preferred; CSS, JavaScript and Regular Expressions a plus.
  • Professional or academic experience in software programming a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and report writing skills.
  • BS/BA in marketing, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or psychology preferred.
