Mobile Optimization Evangelist

The Mobile Optimization Evangelist is tasked with generating awareness and interest around SiteSpect's multivariate testing and targeting solution within the mobile space, focusing in on our unique capabilities to non-intrusively test, target, track and optimize the mobile end user experience. Specific activities may include:

  • Product marketing such as conducting webinars, developing collateral, writing articles and by-lines, blogging and maintaining a presence within social networks.
  • Speaking engagements and networking, attending mobile marketing and developer events/conferences, etc.
  • Prospect outreach, lead generation, and generally "opening doors" for the SiteSpect sales team. Target companies include site operators, publishers, and advertisers, as well as other potential partners in the space including agencies, technology vendors, carriers and marketplaces, etc.

The Mobile Optimization Evangelist will work closely with counterparts from SiteSpect's sales, marketing and product management teams. Within sales situations, the Mobile Optimization Evangelist will be a resource to support the sales team where necessary for demos, Q&A on mobile-specific use cases, and being a general subject matter expert for all things involving SiteSpects mobile content optimization. Part of the Mobile Optimization Evangelist's compensation will be tied to revenue recognized from new sales within the mobile space.

Requirements

  • High level of technical understanding for mobile/wireless devices, mobile content and distribution, advertising/marketing technologies, measurement and analytics. Hands-on experience with mobile site or application development is a plus.
  • Passion for mobile marketing, devices, apps, analytics/measurement tools, advertising, etc.
  • Understanding of key players, market dynamics/relationships, and general workings of the mobile/wireless space.
  • Experience with web analytics, testing, measurement and optimization a plus.
  • Experience with software/high tech product management or product marketing a plus (preferably SaaS models).

Candidates should have experience working effectively in a cross-team capacity. You should be comfortable with the dynamic and fast pace that is typical for an Internet software startup.
