Advanced Solutions Engineer
The Advanced Solutions Engineer is a product and domain expert who is responsible for the advanced support of SiteSpect's services team and our customers. As a client facing technical position requiring experience in front end web development, this is an ideal position for web developers who enjoy both a technical challenge and the opportunity to work closely with technical and non-technical business and marketing professionals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working independently or alongside senior web analysts to implement advanced multivariate tests.
- Developing innovative solutions which enable multivariate testing within dynamically generated content, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, DHTML, and XHTML.
- Providing advanced training, support and troubleshooting to ensure client success.
- Small-scale JavaScript development to enable advanced testing functionality.
- Coding of Regular Expressions.
- Integration of common Web Analytics products and associated data validation.
- Documentation and best practices development as a result of new solutions created.
- Maintaining up-to-date engagement status and narrative in CRM database system.
- Providing feedback to corporate marketing and engineering regarding experiences.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of significant front end Web development and UI design experience .
- JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML, CSS.
- DOM Scripting, JavaScript event handling, and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining cross-browser compatibility (IE, Firefox, Safari).
- Experience with regular expressions.
- Familiarity with Web Analytics products (WebTrends, Coremetrics, Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, etc.) is a plus.
- Professional or academic experience in software programming is a plus.
- Experience with Flash and video is a plus.
- Strong customer satisfaction orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
