Account Executive

SiteSpect is seeking an Account Executive experienced in converting leads and prospects into sales as well as performing post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and ROI. As the entire sales process may occur over the telephone, the Account Executive must have a strong telephone presence and the ability to engage their prospects without the benefit of an in-person visit. The Account Executive is expected to be knowledgeable on SiteSpect's offerings and prepared to research issues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Capitalize on existing leads generated through inbound inquiries, seminar/events, e-marketing programs, etc.
  • Qualify new opportunities and maintain close regular contact until resolution
  • Conduct or arrange product demonstrations for prospects
  • Maintain up-to-date prospect status and narrative in salesforce database system
  • Provide regular feedback to corporate marketing and engineering regarding experience selling SiteSpect

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a sales role representing a high tech product, preferably in the web development or web analytics space
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience performing web presentations a plus
  • Experience with managing entire sales cycle – from lead assignment through closing
  • BA/BS preferred
  • High technical aptitude, excellent computer skills, and passion for technology
  • Ambitious, motivated, committed, competitive, quick learner and a self-starter, comfortable working within a start-up company
