Eric J. HansenEric J. Hansen
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
 
Eric is the CEO and founder of SiteSpect, and the chief architect of the firm's non-intrusive technology for multivariate testing, behavioral targeting, and digital marketing optimization.
 
Prior to SiteSpect, Eric was the founder and CEO of Worldmachine Technologies, an Internet development and consulting firm specializing in large-scale web engineering projects for organizations such as John Hancock Insurance, Putnam Investments, Hearst New Media, and The New England Journal of Medicine.
 
Prior to Worldmachine, Eric held product management and software engineering positions at several Boston-based technology firms including Princeton Transportation Consulting Group (Logistics.com), Raytheon Company, and the Center for Clinical Computing at Harvard Medical School. Eric is a frequent speaker at conferences covering web analytics and optimization, and writes regularly on topics dealing with the intersection of marketing and technology.
 
He received a degree in Cognitive Science and Psychology with honors from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.

Larry EpsteinLarry Epstein
Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder
 
Larry is responsible for leading SiteSpect's sales, operations, and business development initiatives. Prior to SiteSpect, Larry served in executive sales and marketing positions at Granite Software and GSX Groupware Solutions.
 
He previously founded Radial Technologies, a developer of Internet-based PC administration tools that was an OEM and direct marketer of pre-boot administration solutions. As founder, Larry led the company until the acquisition of its business by Bootix Technology of Cologne, Germany.
 
Prior to that, Larry was a Senior Product Manager at Lotus Development, responsible for all Lotus Notes systems management and infrastructure products. Earlier at Lotus, Larry was Systems Architect and creator of Lotus NotesView, a network management solution for Lotus Notes.
 
He received a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Boston University.
 

Richard Sutton
Vice President of Sales
 
A long-time employee with SiteSpect, Sutton brings more than twenty years of sales experience and a decade of analytics and optimization solutions selling to his role. He joined SiteSpect in 2007 as the company's first sales executive and was promoted to Sales Manager in 2008, followed by a promotion to Director, Global Sales and Business Development in 2010.
 
Prior to SiteSpect, Sutton worked in Sales at WebSideStory prior to its acquisition by Omniture, now part of Adobe. Previously, he was with Sane Solutions, selling NetTracker prior to its acquisition by Unica, now part of IBM. Sutton launched his career in analytics at Cotelligent, where he sold Business Intelligence systems integration solutions.
 
He received a B.S. in Biology from Hofstra University.
 

Kim Ann KingKim Ann King
Chief Marketing Officer
 
Kim brings more than two decades of technology marketing experience to the role of Chief Marketing Officer at SiteSpect, where she is responsible for demand generation, brand awareness, and organizational enablement initiatives that drive customer acquisition and retention.
 
Throughout her career, Kim has built global brands and positive market presence, helping to successfully launch several technology start-ups. She launched leading security software provider Bit9 in 2005 with high-impact, cost-effective marketing initiatives that consistently achieved brand recognition, marketplace differentiation, and customer acquisition and loyalty. For Akamai Technologies, Kim helped create global brand awareness in advance of Akamai's IPO, the 4th-most successful on Nasdaq in 1999. At Open Market, an e-commerce software pioneer, Kim managed the company's worldwide public relations strategy, positioning, and initiatives.
 
She received an M.S. in Communications Management from Simmons College and a B.S. in Public Relations with honors from Boston University.

Ara PongratzAra Pongratz
Vice President of Customer Operations and Success
 
Ara is responsible for SiteSpect's Solutions Architecture and Professional Services teams, where he focuses on successful and outstanding post-sales customer experience.
 
Throughout his career, Ara has demonstrated the ability to deliver technical solutions to business goals. He comes to SiteSpect from Dane Street, where he served as Chief Information Officer, directing all technology-related initiatives for infrastructure, security, communications, software development and acquisition, and technology integration. Prior to Dane Street, Ara was the Senior Vice President, Professional Services, at Innovation Group, overseeing Program and Project Management, Business Analysis, Applications Development, and Software Quality Assurance. Previously he served as the Vice President of Applications Development for First Notice Systems, where he managed engineering and implementation of web-based solutions for the insurance industry.
 
He received a B.S. degree from Northeastern University and is a certified Project Management Professional.
 

Shevawn HardestyShevawn Hardesty
Chief Financial Officer
 
Shevawn has been providing financial management and leadership for technology organizations for more than 25 years. For the past 12 years, she has worked with emerging technology companies as their CFO on a consulting basis or on staff — closing nine rounds of venture funding totaling over $50 million as well as two rounds of debt financing.
 
Shevawn has managed all of the financial aspects of her client companies, such as Adjoin Solutions, AnyDay.com, Active Impulse Systems, Mint Technology, and Enox Technologies, as well as hiring and training the financial and administrative teams and overseeing human resources, information services, legal, facilities, and other administrative functions. Shevawn has held executive positions with Fidelity Investments, Fleet Bank, and Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and has also worked with Ernst & Young.
 
She received a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University and is a licensed CPA.
 

Dr. Michael Reed SutherlandDr. Michael Reed Sutherland
Chief Scientific Advisor
 
As Chief Scientific Advisor, Mike is responsible for the design and integrity of SiteSpect's statistical analysis components. He also collaborates with SiteSpect's Professional Services team on customer engagements, applying his decades of experience as both a consultant and professor in the use of mathematics and optimization.
 
Prior to joining SiteSpect, Mike was the Director of the University of Massachusetts Statistical Consulting Center (SCC), which provided services to university-related research projects. During his tenure, Mike led the SCC's expansion into services-for-hire for industry and government clients.
 
Before joining the SCC, Mike held the position of Associate Professor of Statistics in the Mathematics department of University of Massachusetts. Prior to that, Mike was Assistant and then Associate Professor of Statistics and Computer Science at Hampshire College.
 
He received a Ph.D. in Statistics from Harvard University and a B.A. in Mathematics from Antioch College.
